Fear

Speed painting that... turned into a not-so-speedy painting. XD

I was feeling kind of overloaded with stuff that I /have/ to do, and stuff that I /have/ to make nice, and wanted to just sit down and paint something for fun that didn't need to be anything special. So that's where this came from, just wanted to do something quick that didn't have anything riding on it.

Even so, I ended up spending more time on it than I meant to, about 4 hours in all. Tried something different, started out very dark and went from there - I had noticed that all of my paintings turn out ridiculously colourful and cheerful, which isn't something I always want. XD Painted with the oils in Corel 10. Sketch here.
